standards are important to have some times... i suppose you could back in to the spot but i think the places they stay at have the patio right there and the hook ups on the same side.

what side is the curb on?? - if you go to europe the door is on the left side

In the event a door comes open it is safer to be on the opposite side of on coming traffic.
