No, I didn't know that but it doesn't surprise me. A lot of governments were quite apprehensive when Nelson Mandela was released from prison. He had been in prison for terrorism offences, after all and he wasn't the first head of state to have had earlier links with terrorism.

Nelson Mandela is not the man we think he is. When he was head of the ANC, he did some nasty things. It was part of a struggle, but he authorized some real bad things. Since he is the head of the ANC his name is on the terrorist list. Congress is debating removing them both form the list.

I was not aware of it. I do know that the Nobel Prize has become a farce. Barack Obama was awarded such a prize for no reason, so it is likely that Nelson Mandela does not actually deserve one either. It is appalling if Nobel Peace Prizes are given to terrorists. Incidentally, I hear that white people in South Africa are being tyrannized badly.
