I had the same boss for 23 years. He was fair and I really liked him so very much. He retired and I did too. Nothing romantic. I just liked the guy. Really, he couldn't have been nicer for a boss.

Other than in my early youth, I've always been in an upper management role. I'm not "nice" to my employees. I do, however, show respect for their work, encourage them and try to motivate them. My only superiors (bosses), at least for the past 20 years, have been the President's or C.E.O.'s of the companies at which I've worked. I expect no more from them than I provide to those I supervise.

he Should have been nicer to be and everyone else. He should have been wiser in his decisions and more discreet. because he was none of those things, he will be shown the door very very soon. nothing less than he deserves.

you are the boss of your conscience be good to yourself, id like to say don't work for the ass hole but everyone needs money to live. since i love life, from the begining , its been the bosses job to be that. everyone quit one day and the body was full of shit, the boss was the first one to get everyone working again!

No, my boss is really easygoing =] He doesn't even mind if I come in late, as long as I have a valid reason...but then again, I work part-time and I don't really have set hours.

Of course. My boss will yell at you for no reason. The thing about it is if she spent half the time she should on the job, she would know what's really happening and she would know that we handle the situations better than what she thinks.
