Washing machine open, dryer closed.
-
I leave it open for at least 24 hours to air it out and then I close it.
-
Open
-
closed.
-
I don't know, I guess however I leave it when I'm done with it.
-
Open until it dries out, then closed.

The lid is always open, and I have no idea why! lol
-
I have to leave mine open if I don't it smells sour, I think it's just old though, every thing I own is old...
-
closed...and we usually have things sitting on top of it (i've got 2 roommates)
-
Open most of the time. I have no idea why though.
-
Closed as it's a front loader.
-
If it's got a lid on it, it's closed in my house. Who knows what might fall/climb/jump in. (That includes toilets)
-
I have to leave it closed. If it's open even a crack, it falls all the way open and there's not enough room in my little kitchen to get around it:)
-
I live in a duplex and share the machine with other tenents. They'd leave it open, and one time there was a very scary looking insect just chillin in the washing machine. So not cool! Ever since then, I really try to make sure it is closed.
-
I always leave it open, top loader or front loader, so it has a chance to dry out to prevent any mold/bacteria or odours
-
If you leave something exposed here, it grows a layer of fine dust. If I wipe the dust off one side of my car it will be dusty again before I can wipe the other side.
-
It doesn't really matter to me. I'll often close the washing machine lid to put the clothes from the dryer on top of the lid and fold them from there, but I also open the lid on occasion to make sure I didn't leave wet clothes in there. So it's a toss-up whether it's open or closed.
-
Closed because we have cats, so the washer and the dryer both stay closed around here!
-
Both open
-
i dont have a washing machine
