Since you are asking about defroster only, I am assuming the heater works. If blower motor does not work (you can't hear it running), and fuse is good, check for a defective relay. If that is good, it will probably be the switch. If blower motor works, but no air comes out, check the duct tubes from the defroster vents to blower unit. If they are all connected and not crushed, a switch that controls a door or flap and diverts the air from heat to defrost may be bad.
