  • Not my kids... but we did a sensory lesson in the daycare class I taught... baby powder vs. shaving cream. I am SO glad I did that on Water day.
  • Well my pooches are my kids for now, and they have shredded and chewed on anything and everything throughout my house, that would be the biggest thus far.
  • My nieces and nephews (toddlers) have a habit of taking every book out of a bookcase and scattering them all over the floor. Guess who has to put everything back?
  • playing with matches....
  • Probably when my son dropped a full pitcher of Kool Aid on the floor. Red Kool Aid at that. It took 3 moppings for the floor not to be sticky.
  • with 3 boys......i can't even guess as to which mess tops the list; probably muddy cleats and red baseball dirt! but i'm givin' ya + for havin' to clean it up :)
  • Well, there were many messes, but the most memorable would have to be the time my son (around age four) and a friend 'colored' an oriental rug with oil pastels. Here I was, relaxing in the kitchen, thinking "They are playing so nicely!". I learned my lesson and never let 'playing quietly' go on for long without checking in on them! :)
  • A whole bottle of baby oil all over the kitchen linoleum! I was taking a shower and my son woke up and I guess wanted some baby oil on. ;)
  • My son was in his walker still don't remember exactly how old maybe a year or so. (he didn't walk on his own til nearly 18 months old) Anyway my ex wife (who was my wife at that time of course) just opened a very large can of breadcrumbs to bread some chicken for dinner and made the dumb mistake of putting it under the kitchen sink. Needless to say my son got into it and made a breadcrumb trail from the kitchen which was in the front of the apartment all the way to the back bedroom.
  • When I was little we went to Niagra Falls and I liked it so much I recreated it in our kitchen. I wonder if I got a spanking for that one. :P
  • I was in the middle of making PB and J sandwiches for the kids and had to go to the bathroom. When I came out of the powder room, the kids were covered head to toe in penut butter and jelly. They had gotten spoons and had a food fight. I was so angry I started yelling which excited the dog. She was a rotti-sheppard-chow mix (big big dog) and bumped into the kitchen table. A can of soda fell on the floor and she picked it up and bit into it which sent soda flying in every direction. It took two days to get the peanut butter, jelly, and soda off the walls and ceilings.
  • The best and the worst for me was when my son was about 2 he went wild in the bathroom. He unravelled about 12 toilet rolls, emptied umpteen bottles of shampoo down the toilet, three tubes of toothpast a huge pot of sudo cream went into his hair and shaving foam everywhere. Not long after that incident a lock was fitted to the outside of the door. Took me all day to clean up and everytime the toilet was flushed bubbles would come out of the toilet. Toilet was lovely and clean tho lol
  • When my 4 year old son snuck a dozen and a half of eggs and went into his room, locked his door, then turned his ceiling fan on high and through them one by one up into the fan. His room looked tie dye not to mention then eggs getting trapped between the wood floor panels. His room smelled like rotten eggs for weeks.
  • Ugh! Mine have made soooo many messes! I would say the biggest one was when they got the big tub of margarine out of the refrigerator and sat on the floor eating it. Then they decided it would be fun to smear it all over the floor, walls, appliances, and cabinets in the kitchen. I wasn't very amused...
  • My children thought that sand and butter would be a good mix especially when you insert it in the dvd player and leave it there for 2 weeks. Ive also had my to youngest children run round my house with my wife's eye liners along the walls. But compared to jumping on my head with a filled nappy at 5 in the morning to go and watch barney the dinosaur its nothing special.
  • One time they got real early, and decided to feed the gold fish. They poured a box of cheerios, some taco sauce, pudding & applesauce into the fish tank. The water was almost solid with food. The d*mn fish lived though...I poured them into the sink & rinsed them off, & they lived another year or so. They also "wallpapered" the bathroom wall with stay free maxi pads that morning.
