Many won't believe the information available. Many Haitians go by boat from Haiti to South America, typically Venezuela, then walk by foot to Colombia. They then cross the Darien Jungle, which is super dangerous, not just because of the predatory animals and venomous spiders and scorpions and snakes, but mainly because it is controlled by cartels and violent rebels. Panama will "accept" them as refugees, but puts them on busses and moves them to Costa Rica, where they continue to move up through central america trainhopping until they are in tge USA. Once in the USA, they gravitate toward other Haitians who share more in common with them than other Americans.
