Is it a conflict of interest when a Doctor/ Surgeon owns their own practice?
Seeing as how they profit more from doing more surgeries? Can they easily lose sight of what's in the patients best interest?

Not in the real world. Maybe in the mind of a college professor without a class, a newspaper writer without a story or a politician looking for a new line of BS.

I find that surgeons want to cut, lawyers want to litigate, pharma wants to medicate, etc. Of course there are those of high integrity in all professions that will honestly say "you don't need my services" and refer.
