Would be hours flying from Canada. Live in Ontario. French Quebec is almost steps away. It is not France but I would experience French culture.

3985 miles, but that includes the air (flying) distance. Not fair. I don't have the proper number if I wanted to swim it. I could probably knock off about 1K miles that way. And I'd stop giving a crap after a very small portion of the swim.
