What exactly is a "Classical period sonata allegro movement?"
I need to preform a classical period sonata allegro movement for a piano competition, but I'm not exactly sure what that is. I can play through all three movements of the moonlight sonata, so could that be allowed in the competition? If so, is it just one movement? I don't think so saying that none of them are at an allegro tempo, but I could be wrong. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me out.
