If they are of significant monetary value, you could try offering them to a coin dealer, who will give you fair market value for them. If the value is insignificant, you could offer them to a grade school for use in geography or social studies classes. Alternatively, you could offer them on your local Freecycle website; it's amazing what people will take when it is offered for free!! http://freecycle.org/

I keep my foreign coins in a jar. When older children visit I get them out for them to look at. Kids are fascinated by them and just love finding out what countries they come from. I then let them pick one to take home. Good kids.

In the UK alot of currency exchange places now accept coins but at half the current exchange rate. Most charities will accept them. Save them in a jar until you next go to that country.
-
Hang on to them. You never know what can be done with them.
-
Give them to unwanted foreigners LOL
-
Save them, sell them, give them away, throw them away, or you could always melt them down and make anything from jewelery to beer cans ... you could even drill a hole and use it as a bolt spacer or washer ... you could even check them for size and then use them in some coin operated vending machines.
-
Do you have a Money Mart where you live?

Ebay them to the highest bidders! Or you could take jewelery classes and learn to make one fine coin necklace/bracelet set!

I'm not sure what kind you have, but if they are the type with holes they make really cute jewerly. I used some of my left over yen to make necklaces for my friends and myself, they're great gifts.

Go to a treasury and have them exchanged for their same worth in whatever type of money the country you live in has.

bring them to the airport and exchange them for US coins, and then spend da money
-
Well, most foreign flights(well, the ones I've been on) have envelopes for donating them to unicef, since a lot of banks won't exchange change. I like the suggestion of giving them away for geography classes, though.
