If I tell a lie in my dream, does God still consider this a real lie?

I can't see in the Bible any suggestion that we have conscious control of our dreams. So, I doubt that a lie in a dream would "count" as a specific sin. However, don't let yourself off the hook yet. What the lie in the dream does is reveal and reflect your sinful nature. It is this "pervasive" (to use the theological term) sinfulness which I believe to be the big problem, out of which all the individual sins flow. The good news is that the atonement of Christ covers both sin as a principle, and individual sins. Those who are in Him by repentance and faith are not under any condemnation for either.

You are not aware when you are dreaming. The thought of sin is not a sin as long as you do not preform it. "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
