There has been a general consecus of the "Big Four" being Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and Brahms. However, I disagree. I feel it should be: Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Shostakovich And that's if I HAD to pick a top four. If I could, I'd also add Chopin, Rachmaninov, Holst, R. Strauss, Mahler, Cage, Handel, Scarlatti, Clementi, Schubert, Schumann, Wagner, Liszt, Haydn, Vivaldi, and soo many others. (These are the people I believe to be the most influential in classical music.)
