  • Aren't judicial decisions a matter of public record? Seems to me that if people really wanted to keep abreast of these things they'd get off their lazy butts and research the info instead of having everything handed to them on a silver platter. Some proceedings are recorded or televised. They're regularly reported on. But I'd hate to see the judiciary become a source of idle entertainment, which is what would happen if we had a television camera in every courtroom..
  • That's the problem, we don't vote for them as they are appointed. For anyone who truly cares, there is a public record of the court proceedings.
  • Some cases are not video recorded because of the potential consequences of doing so. For example: for the sake of the reputation of victim(s). For example: for the sake of the reputation of witnesses giving testimony. For example: because the proceedings could be inflammatory (i.e. could lead to riots). Etc.
  • Because the way the average judge carries on would be embrassing for the system. Seriouly sit in court for a few days and see for yourself. They are scumbags .The day the revolution comes we know who they are we know where they live.. They will cease to exist with in hours..
