Well, whether we like it or not, it's a big event, and he did single handedly help establish and define the pop genre in the eighties. I'm not particularly sick of it, at least these questions can spring a lot of good discussion; way better than when everyone wouldn't stop asking questions about when George Bush got a shoe thrown at him. Not those I was sick of.

being from South Carolina, I'm glad it took some of the coverage away from Gov. Sanford and our state, similar to gary Condit disappearing from the headlines due to 9/11; but to answer your question - yes, I'm about done with the coverage of MJ. I do not think there has been as much sensationalism on a death since Princess Diana.

Already?? It's only been a day! :-O Every kind of music you listen to now is b/c of him. He may have been messed up in the head b/c of that accident when he was younger BUT he was a great artist and that's why people are so saddened.
