My daughter was 11 months old and my son was really quick at 9 months old and this is walking by themselves not holding on to me or the furniture :)
-
Ooooo. He was a late walker ... about 13 months!! (He'd kill me if he knew I posted this! LOL)
-
I could only tell if I had children but for the younger bros the age was between 9 months- 15 months!
-
Hi, Chief Wanbli :) My older daughter was about 11 months old by the time she could walk without constantly falling down. My littlest one was almost 18 months before I could say the same about her. She was a late bloomer!
-
my oldest son got up a started walking on his own the day of the Rodney King Riots, like he got scared or something and was ready to leave he was 1 year 2 days old, my little son started walking a week after his first birthday. they are 14 years apart and had the same pattern, but i carried them alot.
-
My daughter was 2 weeks shy of one year old, and my son a year plus 2 weeks.
-
9 months for Logan, a year for Jace, and a year for Tyler. :o)
-
Jessica was 9 months and Natalie was 10 months...and they haven't stopped yet. I've tried duct tape, super glue but nothing works.
-
He was walking at 11 months with a lot of spills. But by 14 months he was a real "mover" and a "shaker"!!! +5 . What a FUN question!!! Brings back some vivid memories of him as a baby! Stinker is now 13 yrs old. And by answering your other question about "tripping and busting your butt" he still falls down!! LMAO! He'd shoot me for printing this on AB! But he is not here!!! LOL
-
He was just 10 months and could (and still can) move like lightening! :)
-
My daughter walked into her doctor's office for her 6 month check-up and he was amazed. Never penned her up, always a loose on a blanket in the floor.
-
She was a little wobbly at 10 and 11 months. One year old she was really walking.
-
all but 1 walked by the time they were 11 months. My second oldest didn't walk till he was 14 months, I think that had a lot to do with the fact his older sister really didn't like him and would hit him and push him down.
-
When my son was born, he was so chubby and his feet were too small to support his weight. He stood up on his feet at almost 18 months and soon after, he started walking LOL, he even had a difficult time crawling and he used to roll from room to room or drag himself by his elbows. LOL. He's 6' 2" tall now and thin with big feet :). My daughter started walking at an earlier age...I think she was about 9 months. She had places to go, people to see...and 15 years later, she is still this way :).
-
My son was very early walking about 10 months maybe slightly less. He was always in a hurry to learn and do things.
-
I think she was 11 months. Why walk when daddy carries you everywhere?
-
They both walked late.... one at 14 months & the other at 16 months.
-
my son started walking at 9 months, my daughter at 7 months then he pushed her over and must have lost confidence and went back to crawling or would only walk with someone holding her hand, but at 10 months she just stood up and walked every where one day. probably had enough being left behind by her brother.
-
first one was at 15 months second one was 13 months third at 9 months-only girl last one 12 months
-
She was two, but she'd had a stroke.
-
my daughter was 9 and 1/2 months when she started walking, my sister has a daughter that just turned a year old and she's just now taking a couple steps on her own though
-
6 months

My Daughter was 9.5 months when she walked unassisted and 11 months when she started running around. My Son was 10 months when he started walking unassisted and 10.5 months when he started running around. People always say how lucky I am to have kids who were early walkers and talkers but I'll tell ya, sometimes I envy those parents whose kids will sit still and quiet ;)
-
the average is 14 months but it varies some babies can start to walk at 10 months old others may start to walk at 20 months. i wouldnt worry about it as every child developes differently. good luck i hope that this has helped xx
-
My daughter had just turned one when she took her first step.
-
i am too young to have kids, but when i asked mum, she said it was about a year old or so
-
My son decided he wanted to walk the day after his first birthday party.
-
Both very young...the younger one a little later then the older one. My older one is the genius... He did everything really young.
-
My daughter started walking right before she turned 1 but she wasn't really good at it until she was 15 months old.
-
All 3 of my kids learned before 1 years old. My youngest daughter learned at 9 months old. She was running by her 1st b-day. She was so cute, she was so small and running, I miss those days. Now its the grandkids.
-
My son was standing at six months, cruising furniture not long after. He would NEVER let us "help" him walk, but he took off on his own at nine months. Now he's all over the place at once - running top speed everywhere. He turned a year old this past Monday.
-
The oldest one started at 10 months old and the younger around 11 months old.
-
my frist child was 1 year in the half, my other lil gril was 10 months old.
-
eldest took her first unaided steps at 10 months and my youngest at 11 months but each child is different, i'd only be worried if at 15 months they hadn't even attempted to walk or cruise around furniture.
-
5 months
-
10 months, 12 months
-
10mos,11mos,11mos,10mos. all 4 walked before they were 1.
-
believe it or not he was 9 months old
-
my oldest started at 9 mths and my youngest started at 8 mths. It all depends on the child. I would not prefer stressing them over it because most babies will do it on their on after they are showed a few times. Some start late and some start early it really depends on the child like i said.
-
well i am not a mom but when i learned how to walk i was about a year and a half me and my twin :)
-
Two weeks under a year for my daughter, two weeks over a year for my son. A wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide range of ages is very normal.
