Laptop, they are just more convenient. Since I'm in the military, it's just best to be mobile as much as you can, we have to move like every 3-5 years.

I am on my laptop. That's what I prefer to use.

-
Dell PC for the last 5 years.

I used to use both, but when I realized that my laptop was really quite a superior machine to my desktop PC I bought a docking station. Now, my laptop (HP 8510p) is a laptop if I need to be away from my home desk, and it's a desktop replacement (with full-size keyboard and 22-inch monitor) when it's on the docking station. No more having to transfer files from desktop to notebook and/or back. My stuff is always with me.
-
laptop at home!!!!

I have both but mainly use a PC.
-
Laptop, it is easy and portable.
-
PC, and the damn thing runs Vista.
-
Desktop PC, but I would LOVE to have a portable (laptop, notebook or a netbook). =D I would not be able to get rid of the desktop, because I like to play games, and unless I get a very expensive laptop I wouldn't be able to play games on it satisfactorily. But yeah if I could, I would get a fantastic gaming laptop and never mind about a desktop again.

I broke 2 laptops in a year so came to the conclusion they are to easily damaged, plus if you buy a desktop you generaly get a bit more power/memory/whatever for your cash.

I use both a desktop pc and laptop. I also use a convertible-style laptop/ tablet pc and a UMPC as well.

I have both. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1520. I have Windows 7 RC on it right now, a core 2 duo CPU, 3 GB RAM. Nvidia 8400 mobile graphics card, 15.4 widescreen, it's real nice. My desktop is a custom PC that I built. I am dual booting Windows 7 RC 64 Bit, and Windows XP 32 Bit, Core 2 Duo CPU, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon Vid card with 1GB DDR3 RAM, dual DVI out, a 640GB SATA HDD, DVD ROM, DVD Burner, 20 inch widescreen LCD monitor by Dell. Each of my sons have a Core 2 Duo custom PC that I built for them, with 20 inch LCD monitors. My wife has a Pentium 4, custom PC that I basically rebuilt for her. This is just FYI :-)

I use a PC and prefer a PC. It seems like you get a lot more bang for your buck with a PC. Laptops are really expensive.
