Oh she'd be getting a ride. In more ways than one.
-
was this woman fit? key point in such a situation
-
Here on the Big Island, I'd stop.
-
Of course I would pick her up!!
-
I would stop, but not open my car. I would call the police on my cell phone.
-
with my size i dont think a scam would continue - but i guarntee she would get a safe ride home
-
Life's short, I'd take a chance.
-
It would be fairly easy to recognize what condition she was in if I pulled over and saw her, so, yes, I would give her a lift to a hospital.
-
I would look at the area, and see if there were bushes or trees where an accomplice could hide. If there were, I'd pull well past, calling 911 on my phone at the same time. I would then wait for her to come up, and inform her, if she were alone, that I had called 911. I would also inform her that I would wait in the car, with her outside until the police showed up. If she were visibly hurt, I would ask the 911 operator before doing anything, what advice they had.

Dyanne Velasquez, 21, Maria Contreras-Luciano, 22, Amber Crespo, 20, face kidnapping, assault and conspiracy charges. They are accused of abandoning a former friend in the woods in 8-degree (-13 Celsius) weather even though she was wearing just a dress and one shoe. Three Evil Step Sisters... A Modern Day Cinderella if you ask me.
-
I would think scam- but i always think scam for everything- i would call the cops.
-
I would have my doors locked and call 911. I would be panicked. Dont ask me what I would do if I didnt have coverage. Maybe ask her to walk down the road a bit and make sure she was alone.
-
Pull over to further asses the situation, i would think it was strange.
-
I would continue to drive and call the police. I would think scam, but all the police anyways just incase. I think that would be the best thing to do
-
I would not give it a second thought. I would stop and help. Just the kind of guy I am, I hate seeing someone who looks like they need help and no one helping.
-
I'D STOP AND PICK HER UP AND HELP HER.
-
Where's the other foot?
-
A lot depends on the area, but I would call the police for sure. If it was a warm night I would leave her, but if it was freezing or cold I would pick her up, particularly if it was the middle of nowhere. Definitely call police, though.
-
Scam.
-
Yes, I wouldn't hesitate. In the rural north of Scotland I have no fear of scams.
-
I would pick her up, and help, but I would make sure to be cautious, and prepared for anything. "Love all but trust few" kind of thing.
-
I would help out, of course.
-
I'd probably use my cell phone and report it, lock my doors, pull ahead a safe distance and wait for help to arrive.
-
I would likely call the police to come and help her. They can do more for her than I could.
-
20 yrs ago a person wouldn't have thought twice about stopping if they saw a young girl or woman out alone on the side of the road at night but sadly today folks need to be alittle more cautious. I read the story in the newspaper on they young lady Sheriff Raff makes you wonder what this old world is coming too. As to what I would have done: pulled past called 911 and checked area around me, I always keep extra blankets in car or truck so if I felt it was safe I would have called her to come to me and then gave her a blanket and we would have waited for police unless she was injured then I would have taken her to hospital. Even today we still stop and help people when their broke down, flat tires, out of gas etc. We just don't do it when we are alone always make sure we are together and look saturation over before we stop.
-
Scam, she might handcuff me in a motel and take off with all my money along with her accomplice.
-
i might pick her up since she might need help
-
I'd call 911.
-
Chances are I wouldn't see her 'till I was "right on top of her". I.e. I would probably be literally a mile down the highway (it is a highway, after all) before I realized that I COULD help. Likely I would at that moment pull over and inform the police.
-
In the past I would have pulled over, but nowadays I'd call the police and let them help her.
-
call 9 1 1
