I have a 2003 honda civic just had timing belt changed and water pump. car has been running fine but recently heater will blow hot air then cold air at normal driving speeds

the easiest thing to do is check your coolant levels. If there isn't enough coolant in the system the heater will not work and blow cold air. After that you have to start checking all elements of the system such as a blockage possibly in the system or a leak, etc.
